Thesis entitled: "Contribution to the study of power supply modes of metal halide high pressure discharge lamps for dimmable application in urban lighting"

carried out at LEM (Montpellier Electrical Engineering Laboratory) in the framework of the European NumeLiTe project on the improvement of urban lighting systems.

- Wide gap static to semiconductor converters.

- Optical measurements of strong pulsed electric fields

- Electric discharges in water for the generation of pressure waves

- Influence of electric fields on drop coalescence

- Landfill power supply
