From September 28, 2017 to September 29, 2017
This international school organized by the SIAME laboratory of the UPPA is based on recent advances in the field of eco-construction. It will present an overview of the most recent technical advances to reduce the carbon footprint of current construction practices and increase the sustainability of structures. The topics covered in this school will cover the different areas of eco-construction, from the development of energy-efficient materials to the optimisation of building façades and surfaces, including the presentation of examples of "ecological" housing and the description of methods for evaluating the life cycle of buildings, with an emphasis on the use of geo-materials.
