The (RF)²B
The "Regroupement Francophone pour la Recherche et la Formation sur le Béton" (RF)²B was created by an agreement between university laboratories and French-speaking public organizations in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Quebec and Switzerland.
(RF)²B aims to formalize scientific exchanges to carry out joint research activities, such as Scientific Days.

The scientific days
They are intended to be a privileged forum for discussion on research in the field of concrete or other cement-based materials and their applications.
The theme of this year's meetings is "Sustainable Construction and Development in Extreme Conditions". Today, construction must be part of a sustainable development approach. Extreme situations require particular attention as a source of innovation and knowledge development. We can think in particular of high temperatures, marine environments, nuclear accidents...
This year's theme is "Sustainable construction and development in extreme conditions".

- (RF)2B Member: free - send the title of the presentation
- Students: free of charge (excluding meals) - send the title of the presentation
- Teacher-researchers and individuals: 250 € - send the title of the presentation
- Industrial: 300 € - includes 1 participation + logo on all supports + stand to present the activities

Program
The days of 12 and 13 July will begin with invited conferences on the theme "Sustainable construction and development in extreme conditions".
During the coffee breaks on 12 and 13 July, speakers will be able to visit the exhibitors' stands and discuss the scientific posters.
On 12 July a technical conference on the problems of port and coastal works will be held before a technical visit.
The day of July 12 will be closed with a gala dinner on the waterfront.

Visit and practical information
The conference will be held on the Montaury Campus, in the IUT building.
Warning: the organizers draw your attention to the fact that Anglet is located in a very popular tourist area, so don't delay in booking your accommodation.
The Montaury campus is located in Anglet, on the Basque coast, between the cities of Bayonne and Biarritz.
Access by plane: Biarritz- Basque Country airport (.5 km) then bus 14 (direction Gare de Bayonne) or line C (direction Ametzondo shopping centre) - stop at Bernain, 1 minute walk
Bordeaux-Mérignac airport: 190 km, Bilbao airport: 150 km.
Access by train: Bayonne or Biarritz station. From Bayonne station: bus line A1, A2, 4, 14 and C, Bernain stop (1 minute walk from the campus). From Biarritz, line A1 or C.
Access by long-distance bus: stop at "Gare routière de Bayonne" or "place des basques, Bayonne"
Access by car: A63, exit "Bayonne Sud - Anglet"
